Product Details

This stunning and robust monastery table, originating from a Belgian monastery, is a true statement piece with a rich history.

Crafted in the 1940s-1950s, this table was custom-made to meet the monastery's needs.

Dimensions: height 78.5 cm, width 303 cm, depth 108 cm.

With its impressive size, the table comfortably seats 14 people: six on each side and two at the ends.

What makes this table truly unique are the 14 drawers—one for each seat—discreetly integrated into the design. Additionally, the wooden tabletop is removable, revealing a light green formica surface underneath, making the table both versatile and practical. This easy-to-clean surface makes it ideal as a workspace or workshop table, while also serving perfectly as a conference or banquet table.

The height is perfectly suited for standard chairs, and the cleverly positioned drawers ensure they do not obstruct seating comfort.

The exquisite craftsmanship, the unique blend of functionality and aesthetics, and the table’s rich history make it an absolute eye-catcher. A rare and timeless masterpiece for any space!

The monastery table is in excellent condition. The formica top shows some light, barely noticeable signs of use.

The table can be collected from our store in Antwerp, Belgium. Worldwide shipping is also available.

Due to its size and weight, this table will be delivered by a specialized courier.
