Vepa “Pit” Upholstered Chair, Netherlands, 2019

Compact, comfortable chair by Dutch manufacturer Vepa, from the Pit series.

Dimensions: height 80 cm, seat height 47 cm, width 44 cm, depth 50 cm.

This 2019 version has a fully upholstered shell in a warm rust/brick-red wool blend – soft, homely and an instant colour accent in the room. The seat is slightly rounded towards the front, so it’s naturally comfortable – ideal at a dining table, in a meeting room or as a standalone side chair.

The base consists of four splayed, white lacquered metal legs. There’s a small paint chip on one leg (see detail photo), otherwise the chair is in very good condition.
