Beautifully preserved vintage Kendo armor set (bogu), featuring a deep indigo-blue hue and crafted with traditional materials and techniques. This complete set includes:

• Men (面) – the protective helmet with a steel grille and padded cotton flaps.
• Dō (胴) – the lacquered chest protector with a stunning red-lacquered interior and elegant black-and-gold embroidered detailing on the upper panel.
• Tare (垂れ) – the waist and hip guard made of indigo-dyed cotton with refined stitching.
• Kote (小手) – a pair of padded gloves with traditional blue stitching and leather palms.

The set is of high quality, showcasing skilled craftsmanship in both construction and finish. The dō, with its glossy surface and decorative embroidery, is particularly eye-catching.
