Vintage Sōsaku Kokeshi by Takeda Daisuke, 1970s

Elegant vintage sōsaku kokeshi by Takeda Daisuke, with a soft natural wood tone and a calm, refined presence. The doll has a rounded form, finely painted eye lines and long side panels of hair that beautifully frame the face. The visible wood grain in the hairstyle adds warmth and depth to the piece.

Dimensions: height 18 cm, diameter 10 cm.

The body is subtly decorated with flowering branches in soft red tones, finished with small white accents. The decoration remains understated, allowing the form, the wood and the serene expression to take centre stage.
