Complete Vintage GO Game Board Goban Kaya, Shōwa period, Japan.

A beautiful Go board made of Keyaki wood, complete with Goseki-ire (碁石入れ) for storing the black and white stones.

Dimensions: height 26 cm, width 45 cm, depth 40.5 cm.

The storage boxes, or Goseki-ire, are made of wood and contain 181 black stones and 180 white stones.

This Keyaki wood board dates from the Shōwa period and has developed a lovely patina over time. The playing field is in good condition.

The solid wood block is finished with elegantly designed legs.
