A large and rare kokeshi pair from the Naruko school (Miyagi), both signed by Okazaki (family of renowned Naruko masters). Warm wood tone with deep red and black chrysanthemum decoration, red neck rings, and serene hand-painted faces—hallmarks of classic Naruko aesthetics.

Dimensions (each): height 47 cm, diameter 11 cm
Condition: very good; attractive, even patina.

Traditional kokeshi are hand-turned wooden dolls from northern Japan, prized for their pure forms and subtle painting. This substantial, perfectly matched duo offers strong decorative presence and clear collector value within the Naruko tradition.
