Beautiful Japanese Ikebana flower vase made of glazed terracotta from the 1960s.

The vase features a decorative spiral pattern, applied in relief (sgraffito), in beautiful earth tones.

A decorative and rare collector's item for enthusiasts of Japanese aesthetics, ikebana, and Mid Century ceramics.

The base of the vase bears a mark from the kiln (窯) where it was produced: Yatomi-kiln.

The black marking on the base is presumably the name of the former owner: やじま / Yajima.

Dimensions: height 18.5 cm, width 23.5 cm, depth 9 cm. In perfect condition.
