Rare Japanese glazed ceramics from the 1950s-60s.

This type of vase is used for ikebana (生花), forming an integral part of this art of flower arranging.

Robust, almost brutalist design finished with a brown/blue/copper-green glaze. A beautiful interior element for enthusiasts of Japan, Mid Century, and ceramics.

This decorative collectible is unmarked, bearing only an annotation presumably indicating the name of the former owner (やじま / Yajima).

Dimensions: height 18 cm, width 29 cm, depth 12 cm. In perfect condition."
