Product Details

Elegant set of two porcelain bowls with lids, crafted in Arita during the 1970s and marked at the base.

Dimensions: height 10 cm, diameter 16 cm.

The bowls feature a flower-shaped contour with soft pink glaze fading into white, finely decorated with golden and polychrome motifs of grasses and blossoms. The lids fit perfectly and are topped with a gold-finished knob.

Originally used in the kaiseki cuisine, where dishes are presented individually with refinement. Their graceful form and rich decoration make them ideal as serving ware for special occasions or as refined decorative objects.

The set is in excellent condition, free from chips or cracks – a fine example of Arita porcelain artistry and Japan’s attention to detail and presentation.
