Beautiful Japanese wooden hibachi with original copper lining, Meiji period, ca. 1868-1912. Hand carved, richly grained wood.

Hibachi is a kind of brazier that is used as a heating device in Japan.

Handy size as a planter, perfect for a bonsai tree. Great mingei piece (folk art) for the collector.

Dimensions: height 12 cm, width 92 cm, depth 45 cm. This Hibachi is in good condition.

Given the age, there are normal signs of wear, which, in our opinion, are part of the charm of the object. Has no fractures and has never been repaired. Be sure to take a good look at the photos, they are part of the description.
