Beautiful vintage Cha Tansu or Japanese tea cabinet. This tea cabinet features five drawers and two storage compartments with sliding doors, one of which has a removable panel.
The cabinet is finished with stunning dark-grained Tochinoki veneer (Horse chestnuts).
There is also an open 'display' section with a level difference, perfect for showcasing objects.
A unique interior piece that will bring an authentic Japanese atmosphere to your home, dating back to the 1930s.
This cabinet is an impressive example of Japanese craftsmanship.
Pay special attention to the wooden joints where no nails or screws are used, and the fine finish with beautifully grained veneer.
