A beautiful set of ten Japanese wooden serving tables from the Taishō period, complete with original wooden storage box.
This set also includes a matching set-up table.
These tables were used to present and serve dishes during ceremonies and festivities.
The interior is red urushi lacquer, while the exterior is black lacquered. The raised edge is finished with gold.
The serving table rests on four beautifully shaped legs.
The wooden storage box features a removable panel and two metal handles for easy transport.
