A striking Japanese ikebana vase with a sculptural, almost architectural presence. Made from sugi wood (Japanese cedar) with a bold, dark grain, this piece features a removable copper water reservoir inside.

Dimensions: height 38 cm, diameter 18 cm.

The design nods to traditional Japanese buckets and carrying vessels (tsurube/oke): a tall, cylindrical body topped with an open bracket-style structure. The handle can be detached by removing the wooden pins, allowing the copper reservoir to be lifted out easily for cleaning.

In a contemporary interior, it works beautifully as a strong standalone accent on a table, sideboard, or in a niche—styled with a few branches, flowers, or seasonal greenery. Even without flowers, it remains a powerful object on its own.
