Unique Japanese Oribe-yaki Ikebana flower vase from the 1960s, a stunning example of traditional craftsmanship.

Dimensions: Height 22.5 cm, diameter 9 cm.

This vase is in perfect condition and comes with its original wooden tomobako storage box, as well as a stamped signature on the base.

A hallmark of Oribe-yaki (織部焼) is its asymmetrical shapes and bold glazes. This vase features an organic, irregular silhouette that highlights natural beauty, with a striking deep green glaze cascading down its neck. The hand-painted, freeform decoration includes abstract geometric patterns and stylized motifs, typical of this style.
