Vintage Japanese Mini-Tansu Cabinet with Three Drawers, 1980s

A compact Japanese storage cabinet inspired by traditional tansu design, with three drawers, warm reddish-brown wood and black metal fittings.

Dimensions: height 24 cm, width 18 cm, depth 13.5 cm.

This small cabinet dates from the 1980s and has a classic Japanese appearance. The front features three practical drawers with decorative metal handles and black corner fittings, beautifully contrasting with the deep reddish-brown wood tone. The visible wood grain gives the piece warmth and character, while the pale wooden interior keeps the drawers clean and functional.

Thanks to its compact size, this cabinet is ideal as a desk organiser, jewellery box or small storage piece for writing tools, valuables, keys, accessories or personal objects. It works beautifully on a desk, cabinet, bedside table, console or in a calm Japanese-inspired interior.

The cabinet is in very good used condition, with light traces of use consistent with age and material.

A charming and practical Japanese vintage object that combines traditional design, warm wood tones and everyday functionality.
