Two-part high-quality Japanese tea cabinet from the mid-Showa period.

These types of cabinets were placed in the central living space and served to store all the necessities for making tea.

This tansu offers numerous storage options and drawers in various sizes.

The upper part of the tea cabinet has a showcase section that is enclosed by sliding doors with faceted glass.

Inside, there is, among other things, a beautifully designed organic-shaped display shelf and a decoration with rice paper.

On the back of the tansu, there is an inscription indicating that the Cha Tansu was a gift.
