A beautiful Japanese cedar Kuruma Tansu (車箪笥) from the 19thC with stunningly colored and grained wood.

A Kuruma Tansu literally translates to 'a chest on wheels.'

This piece of furniture features six drawers, a storage space with a door, and a top compartment with sliding doors. The chest rests on wooden wheels and is adorned with decorative black metal fittings.

A lovely storage piece, perfect for displaying plants, ceramics, and small objects.

Dimensions: height 77.5 cm, width 106 cm, depth 43 cm. In very good condition, minor discolorations on the wood surface.
