Beautiful pair of Shoji floor lamps lined with bamboo fiber Kōzo paper.

The lamps have been re-lined with imported Awagami paper incorporating raw bamboo fibers.

Dating: Taishō [大正] (1912-1926). Authentic and traditional ambient lighting, bringing true Japan into your interior.

Dimensions: height 60.5 cm, width 26.5 cm, depth 26.5 cm. Both lamps have been rewired with a switch.

A Japanese Shoji lamp is a type of lamp inspired by traditional Japanese Shoji screens. Shoji screens are constructed with a wooden frame and paper that is used as a translucent panel, allowing light to pass through.
