Vintage Japanese Eto Wall Tile with Snake, Sanshū Ibushi-gin, 1980s

This striking Japanese wall piece is a true statement object: a powerful snake rendered in high relief, winding through stylised waves and ripples across the surface. The sculptural design—featuring crisply defined scales and a strong sense of movement—gives the piece an almost architectural presence on the wall.

Dimensions: height 28 cm, width 28 cm, depth 6 cm.

The piece is marked “Sanshu Ispo Yaki” and is made from cast plaster, finished with a silver-toned, metal-look coating.

A hanging cord is fitted at the top, so it can be displayed immediately.
