Mid Century Cha Tansu Showa Era (1940s) Japanese tea cabinet.
Japanese tea cabinet from the early Showa period (1940-1950), designed to store all the necessary items for tea preparation in the central living space.
The top part features a display area with two glass sliding doors. Within this compartment, there is a beautiful curved wooden étagère, a storage space with two sliding doors adorned with origami-patterned textiles, and another separate compartment with a glass door decorated with lovely shimmering paper.
Below, there is additional storage space: the left side with two sliding doors and the right side with a hinged door.
At the very bottom, there is room for two large drawers.

The tansu is in good condition with normal signs of use.
